Juno Opening
This is our Juno Opening scene we have recreated. This was our first filming task we had done and taking that into consideration it did go very well. We did have some trouble's when it came to some shots such as the location of the filming as we needed to find the appropriate background for each shot. Also what camera shot we were going to do as we had to make every shot the same as the Juno opening. Our storyboard that we used as a plan for the shot is accurate when it comes to the picture and the explanation of the shot but the seconds are not exactly correct when you compare our Juno Opening and the plan of the storyboard. The strengths of our group was that we had a very imaginative group when it came to thinking of where and how to do each shot. The filming was good in places but some of the shots were not as stable as others especially when we had to do a panning shot. The weakness in our group was the general discipline within the group. We could of done shot much quicker with how long it took us and this made us shoot the film over two different days. We got all the footage we wanted apart from a couple of short scenes which are very brief but this led us to making the other shots over run to make the other clips of our film fit in with the Juno Opening. I learnt many different skill using the camera such as different shots and what shots are most effective from certain angles and heights. As this is one of my first premiere tasks I am still getting familiar with the software but doing this task I have gained more experience and have discovered different editing techniques. In my opinion the clip matches up well it parts but there are parts where not every shot was covered and some shooting angles were slightly out other than that as a first film I think that it was a success. For my next shot I will improve my shooting skill with the balance and the different angles of the camera, I also need to improve my editing skills but this will come with time as I gain experience with the software.
